I wear my heart on my sleeve, but I’m not naive.
diaryoflittlesecrets: I wear my heart on my sleeve, but I’m not naive. I know what it feels like to be completely broken and I’m all too familiar with what it feels like to hurt. I know what it’s like to see something funny and not laugh. I’ve been taken advantage of and used. My feelings have been completely disregarded, but I still believe all people are good at heart, and my trust has not...

Those friends that check up on you.
cdeeezy: The ones that randomly send you a message asking how you are. It shows that they really care about you. That no matter how busy their life may be, they always find time for you. Sure, some people are just naturally friendly but it proves that there’s still true friends out there in a sea of fakes. If you have one of these, don’t neglect them. There’s not many of them left.

Listen Closely
I have whispered love too many times that, in their cumulative breadth, they’d surpass cries and pleas and screams in audacity, honesty, and poetic beauty, much like the rain and how it drenches cities, and the waves, which encompass but shorelines.

A Thousand Passings of Sun
There is something in the glimpses of candid moments where noises lull down, falling in pitch and volume, settling to a gentle silence; here, all tire, even the brute waves of oceans brimming with youth and vigor rest; nothing and no one is awake, except I, keeper of this solitary sanctuary in which I reside for what seems to be the length of a thousand passings of Sun, if only he too had...

Today has been a very long day and perhaps one of its highlights was the part wherein I sang for one of my classes. It’s been a very long time since I’ve done something something other than present a project in school. Performing is rather therapeutic; it allows you to converse through your art. After all, what good is a song that hasn’t ever been played before?
