I guess if you get your mind off of it long enough, you start to forget. If you keep it up, you’ll eventually forget even how it felt. After that, you’ll forget the entire story. That’s what happens to a lot of people, they forget.

Despite all my doubts, uncertainties, insecurities, and other ambivalences, I let you in. It didn’t matter anymore, come what may, I decided to tell you everything. I told you my secrets, my fears, my feelings, my thoughts, and the things that I dreamt about. Now I know that I am completely and utterly vulnerable. I guess that’s how it is when you trust someone completely.
It’s scary, letting people in your life. They’ll figure you out. They’ll discover who you really are and what the things that matter most to you are. They can leave you and push your pillars down if they wanted to. They can bring you down and destroy you in a way that would truly be devastating.
